NEA was reestablished in 2013, and since then we have grown in leaps and bounds! Starting as nothing more than a few friends wanting to send some arrows at a target, to a strong and building member base.
Archery is a sport that the whole family can take part in, from the youngest of archers to grandmas and grandpas coming out just to apease the grandkids! Everyone is welcome, and everyone gets to try!
Each Saturday morning, archers across the North East of Victoria, gather at the club in Benalla for a fun filled day of Archery. The club offers something for everyone with outdoor targets, 3D animal targets, even novelty targets for the kids! (numbers dependent).
NEA runs's the Come and Try sessions between 10am and 12pm on a Saturday, we have club equipment for these sessions, so don't panic, you don't need to go out and buy your own gear!
Our instructors as well as several of our present members currently compete in archery competetions as well as at both state and national level.
Please be aware that all archers under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.
Archery caters for all ages and abilities no matter if you are 8 or 80, and is safer than all ball sports combined! Which makes it a great sport for the whole family.
It is rare to find a sport that is so versatile in age differences where you can shoot, socialize and in some cases compete with and against your children, parents and friends!
